The “Inductive Cooking Platform” of hs2 with an integrated fume hood and the “InductiveApps” is an “all-in-one” solution for aircraft galleys. 
The solution refers to all established aviation standards (ARINC Size 4) and for this reason is easy to install or replace.
With the cooking platform a multitude of applications for preparation of fresh food of high quality with only one firmly installed device is enabled: frying pan, toaster and the so-called “MultiPurposeCooker” for the temperature-controlled cooking of rice, steaming, cooking or sous vide preparation.
Apart from the compliance with all safety regulations the “Inductive Cooking Platform” also offers a weight reduction of up to 30% with, at the same time, a performance growth of 50% compared to other solutions on the market. A standard solution is available but we’d be happy to transfer the modular concept to your ideas and requirements for modern aircraft galleys (wok heating, multiple cooking surfaces…).
This project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on the basis of a resolution of the German Federal Parliament.

DishwashAir

In 2014 hs2 engineering, together with the engineers of Lufthansa Technik AG, developed, qualified and produced a dishwasher which is suitable for the use on board of commercial aircrafts. The serial professional device with complex safety mechanisms allows to wash dishes on board with the use of three litres of water in only a few minutes. The placement and the connection to standard aircraft galleys is integrated and offers ideal function next to minimum water consumption.
Baskets which fit into all standardized galleys can be used for the placement of dishes and cutlery inside the dishwasher. The device itself can be mounted easily to the available fresh water and wastewater or vacuum systems of the aircraft. One charge of the required detergents allows for up to 40 washing cycles.
